The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA)
The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) brings together the work of the National Council for Vocational Qualifications (NCVQ) and the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority (SCAA) with additional powers and duties. This gives it a unique overview of curriculum, assessment and qualifications across the whole of education and training.

BECTA Schools
Becta leads the national drive to improve learning through technology. It supports the education sector to make the best use of technology so that every learner in the UK is able to benefit from its advantages and achieves the best they can.

Information and support for parents on how to help with your child's learning, including advice on choosing a school and finding childcare.

The Learning Journey
There are four Learning Journey guides which cover the curriculum from Key Stages 1 to 3. These give you information on subjects covered, as well as all the information you need to help your child make the most of their school life.

Healthy Schools
The National Healthy Schools Programme is a long term initiative that helps young people and their schools to be healthy. The Programme isn't just about physical health, it's about good health and happiness inside and out. And it's not just about pupils either; a Healthy School involves the whole school community, from parents to governors to school staff, in improving their health and their happiness and getting the most out of life.
