• Reading Ancient Greek legends, myths and fables.
• Transform selected stories into a Greek play for a production
• Develop story beginnings using appropriate adjectives and adverbs.
• Consolidate whole sentence punctuation skills including early use of speech marks.
• Spelling work on prefixes and letter strings.
• Locate words in a dictionary, make corrections

Numeracy

• Read, write and order numbers
• Use knowledge of place value for numbers up to 100
• Find rules for number sequences
• Use negative numbers
• Introduce decimal places for number order.

Science

• Investigate the separation of solids, liquids and gases.
• Examine natural environments, habitats and niches
