Class RD

This term we have been looking at plants and the outside environment.  We all have been looking around our outside classroom at the features we like and dislike.  It was really interesting to find out what everyone thought.  Some of us really liked the mud and others disliked. 

We have made some beautiful pictures of flowers using different media.  We looked closely at flowers and made some observational drawings using black sugar paper and pastels and we then used tissue paper to create a collage of a flower.  We think they looked really nice and beautiful.

Our bean experiment in the classroom has gone well and we predicted correctly that the bean without water did not grow.  Some of us felt that the bean that had no sunlight would still grow but absolutely nothing happened to it.
