The children have been looking at different forms of Poetry over the past 2 weeks. Here is an example of a conversation poem written by Madeleine. She typed her poem using a word document.

 

HELLO SIR  (my own conversation poem)

 

 

How many did you fly sir?

One sir, two sir, three sir, four sir

I couldn’t fly any more sir

 

Do you want some fur sir?

Are you going to cry sir?

Are you going to watch the match sir

I’ve got a hat to catch sir

 

How many did you fly sir?

One sir, two sir three sir, four sir

I couldn’t fly any more sir

 

Do you want a fly sir?

Not if I’m dry sir

Where did you get your tie sir?

I’m not telling you if you lie sir

We have also been learning about India and were lucky to have a visit from a dance teacher from our partner school in Bangalore, India. Each child was part of an Indian workshop and had the opportunity to have a Mendhi.
